The Violet Book has released its 11th issue and it features none other than Nigerian critically acclaimed author and feminist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

According to the publication, the issue celebrates women and their work – as mothers, lovers, agitators and makers – in all their complexity and glory.

In the magazine, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, speaks with Sarah Sophie Flicker about the challenges of affecting real change, why she now wants to speak to boys, and the need to lift the veil of shame around abortion.
