Chanel And Fendi Will Remember Karl Lagerfeld With An Event At The Grand Palais
On February 19, 2019, the world of fashion lost a shining light. Karl Lagerfeld, the designer behind some of the world’s most recognisable silhouettes, renowned for his dry humor and above all, his pioneering vision of fashion.

Almost four months after his death, Chanel, Fendi and his eponymous label are uniting to pay tribute to the late designer with an event that will cast light on the legacy the artist left behind: his brimming creativity, his multitude of passions, stretching across the realm of fashion, to design, photography, illustration and literature. While there is little information concerning the event, we do know it will be staged by Robert Carsen, renowned for his exhibitions, as well as theater and opera sets. The date is set for June 20, 2019 at the Grand Palais in Paris, a location rich in symbolism for Karl Lagerfeld.
