Wearable Art Collective To Host Established/Emerging Fashion Designer Showcase In Accra
The Wearable Art Collective/Agency is a fashion collective that empowers fashion designers from Africa to succeed in the fashion industry globally, by providing resources and a platform to showcase their designs and art.
The Wearable Art Collective is a creative art house showcasing unique creative and excellent ensembles of high fashion designs, accessories and art. On June 15th, 2019 The Wearable Art Collective/Agency will host its “AFRICAN ARTISIAN COLLECTIVE FASHION SHOWCASE” which is an established/emerging fashion runway show.

The Wearable Art Collective/Agency’s goal is to provide a fashion presentation platform, education, coaching/mentoring, access to funding and experiences, which will help achieve success with the selected African designers.
The WAC will select designers from specific regions of Africa to showcase their designs to an esteemed Fashion Advisory Board who will represent WAC in New York during Fashion Week and possibly in London.
Many designers and artisans from Africa face many challenges, including lack of resources, lack of infrastructure and many complexities of poverty. The Wearable Art Collective/Agency is committed to supporting the sustainable development of the African fashion industry.
