Victoria Kimani is one of the fiercest African female rappers with a passion for fashion. And as Fashion Week started on Wednesday, she took her edgy style to the streets of New York. Though this is her first time attending the bi-annual celebration of fashion, the China Lovesinger has set out to make lasting impressions this year – merging her love for music and fashion.

For her first NYFW show, she enjoyed new season pieces from INXX wearing a striking orange peplum dress from Nigeria’s Elanred store. Then switched up to a more racy look the next day, sitting front row at the Shay Kawaii show – she wore a full outfit from the brand’s latest collection.
