Hot trend alert – snake skin print (Photos)

While the animal print trend has always been perennial, the snake print is currently the IT print. Instagram is quickly becoming the new Pinterest, or if you like, the go to place for fashion inspiration. If you’re one to follow trends and the latest news in fashion, you can concur when I write that the snake print trend is what’s currently circling the fashion sphere. It’s fair to say that most of these trends are born during the fashion week. This year we saw the print dominate on several runways such as Off-White by Virgil Abloh who showcased neon snake print, which was rather appealing.

Fashion icons like Rihanna have given the trend a stamp of approval by rocking it, confirming that indeed, it’s the new wave.

What I like about the print is the fact that it’s pretty versatile. Sure, the grey and white print is the most common, but you’re also free to rock other hues, say, shades of brown or yellow or even blue – snakes come in many beautiful colors hey, so do not limit yourself to one hue. If you like vibrant colors, you do have options. Many people shy away from the snake print perhaps, afraid of looking too busy.
