Kelleth Cuthbert enjoyed the fame she got at the Golden Globes and even got a TV role out of it. But she is suing Fiji for using a picture of her in a cardboard cutout campaign, placed at shops in the US, which she claims was launched without her permission.

Kelleth is claiming she never signed a deal allowing Fiji to use her image on the standees.

FIJI Water has since hit out at Kelleth, claiming her lawsuit is ‘entirely without merit’.

In a statement shared with Metro.co.uk, they said:

This lawsuit is frivolous and entirely without merit. After the Golden Globes social media moment, we negotiated a generous agreement with Ms. Cuthbert that she blatantly violated.

We are confident that we will prevail in Court. Throughout our history, we have had a sterling reputation working with talent.
