ARISE Fashion Week 2018 Day 1: About That Curvy Life Collective- Sally Bawa

The runway shows of the highly anticipated ARISE Fashion Week kicked off on 31st March 2018 at Lagos Continental Hotel (formerly Intercontinental Hotel) with stunning collections from various designers across Africa.

Featuring three designers – FIA, SALLY BAWA and MANOSHIA, The About That Curvy Life Collective wowed the audience when plus size models strutted the runway effortlessly in the amazing pieces.

The Aboutthatcurvylife Collective was created in 2016 as a platform to bring size diversity to the runway, from Africa to the world. It was founded by Latasha Ngwube and has placed Nigeria firmly within the global conversation of Body Positivity as well as propelled over 10 fashion brands to the international media.
