The runway shows of the highly anticipated ARISE Fashion Week kicked off on 31st March 2018 at Lagos Continental Hotel (formerly Intercontinental Hotel) with stunning collections from various designers across Africa.

Ilare showcased his latest collection on Day 2 of ARISE. Ilàré is a high-end, ready-to-wear womenswear line based in Lagos established in 2015 by three sisters. The brand reflects their personal style and passion for beautiful cuts, clean lines and contemporary silhouettes. Ilàré creates high-quality tailored pieces that are flawlessly executed.

It focuses on the African woman’s body and creates pieces that are both flattering and celebratory of her frame. The pieces speak to the ‘Ilàré woman’, who is confident and wears effortlessly chic pieces that are multifunctional. The brand has a creative approach to prints, textures and colour. There is an integration of bold designs with solid colours, which serves as a perfect canvas for the complexity of the pieces to shine through.
