Balenciaga signals a new direction with the release of its “Heart and Body” campaign, unveiled today, February 17, 2026. Photographed by David Sims, the campaign introduces the first major creative statement from Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli and frames his debut collections, Summer 2026 titled The Heartbeat and Fall 2026 titled Body and Being.

Rather than building the story around constructed characters, Piccioli brings together a cast of real individuals. The intention is to form a community shaped by shared values such as respect, sensitivity, and personal freedom. The result feels less like a staged fashion narrative and more like a study of presence and identity.

The campaign also introduces a new group of Brand Ambassadors. British actor and director Harris Dickinson appears alongside American screen legend Winona Ryder and South Korean actress Roh Yoonseo. They are joined by Friends of the House including composer Labrinth, actors Danielle Deadwyler and Havana Rose Liu, and models Mona Tougaard and Loli Bahia.

Canadian actor Hudson Williams, known for the cult series Heated Rivalry, is among the new additions. Speaking about the collaboration, Williams described the experience as deeply personal. He shared that partnering with Piccioli and Balenciaga feels like an honor, adding that the campaign speaks to identity and the confidence to show up authentically. He also noted that the House continues to shape conversations around luxury and culture, and that being part of this moment feels surreal.

The visuals unfold inside a Parisian artist’s atelier. Bold architectural lines meet raw, primed canvas backdrops, creating a space where time seems suspended. Sims photographs the cast in structured grid compositions and looping video portraits, drawing attention to the relationship between the body and the texture of the clothing.

Piccioli’s designs blend modern silhouettes with classic Balenciaga techniques. The focus is on ease and assurance. The garments are intended to support the wearer rather than dominate them, reinforcing the idea that fashion should enhance individuality instead of overshadowing it.

The “Heart and Body” campaign launches globally today. The Summer 2026 collection is now available in select Balenciaga stores worldwide and online.
