Kampala Fashion Week (KFW) returns for the sixth edition. The fashion event which is powered by the Ugandan Fashion Council (UFC), according to their website, is the most influential fashion platform in Uganda.

Ugandan’s most influential fashion platform, Kampala Fashion Week (KFW) promotes Ugandan designers and Fashion designers around the continent to a large global market. The organization was created to support and strengthen the design industry in Uganda as well as enhancing the cultural and creative talent that our country and continent has to offer. KFW is powered by the Ugandan Fashion Council.

This year activities also included workshops sponsored by leading camera manufactures Canon’s  Central & North Africa branch for photographers and filmmakers. Tagged Miraisha & Kampala Fashion Week DSLR workshop participants will get to learn from professionals in their respective fields.

Designers that will showcase at the three-day event include Sanco, Eguana Kampala, Kona and a host of others.

The event is set to take place from the 26th – 28th of September 2019.
