Luna Kuma of the marque Christian Rafaela is an Ethiopian emerging fashion illustrator/designer, movie director currently in Ghana and a student of Riohs Originate, awaiting graduation. Her illustrations have been described as “whimsical” and “Rock & Roll meets rainbow”. The institute noted that: “Her drawings, assemblages and installations, at times reminiscent of punk, with a bewildering sensuality and a strong sense of colour and texture”

The mother of two, Luna Kuma unveiled her groundbreaking project dubbed “sign of fertility” indeed accessories are like vitamins to fashion. Her Pan Africanist accessories titled “sign of fertility” talks about the unity and re-born of Africa. The heart-stirring appurtenance for a timeless garb gives standards, class and elegance to the modern African, who dares to be different. The assortment featured many pieces from Ethopia, Morocco and Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with the creative, Luna Kuma when asked about the objective and inspiration for this project she said, “I see fashion designing and anything fashion as a means of expressing my deepest emotions and beliefs in the process of meeting my purpose in life and my latest project is a worldwide movement that aims to encourage and strengthen bonds of solidarity between all African descent, my main reason for featuring many pieces from Ethopia, Morocco and Ghana”
