Madame Tussauds Unveils New Wax Work Of Nicki Minaj But People Are Not Impressed
Can somebody please tell us who the eff this is?
On Tuesday, the Berlin branch of the popular wax figure museum chain Madame Tussauds unveiled a statue that is supposed to be “Super Bass” rapper Nicki Minaj. (Keywords being “supposed to.”) The wax figure is wearing the exact outfit and displayed in the iconic pose from her 2014 music video for “Anaconda,” but other than that, you wouldn’t know who it was by looking at the wax figure’s face.
Check out a photo of the wax figure below:
After the photos leaked online, fans were quick to point out how much Madame Tussauds messed up Minaj’s figure. And they were not happy about it, either.
Oh no this isn’t @nickiminaj. This reminds me of a character in Mortal Kombat. madammetussauds has always gotten it right with their wax figures. What happened this time around? #madametussauds Image by Getty Images. https://t.co/opTBcRhauG

This is hardly the first time that Madame Tussauds has angered fans with botched wax figures. When Lady Gaga’s wax figure was unveiled at a museum in Lima, Peru back in 2017, fans on social media called it an “alien cockroach,” a bad “Donatella Versace” lookalike, and someone in need of “a Euro for a hostel.” And earlier, the New York City location restyled its wax figure of Beyoncé after facing accusations of whitewashing with her depiction.
