How long have you been a professional model? About 3 years now

Did you walk into an agency or were you discovered? I was scouted twice by Herman, and I was convinced by another model

What do you love about being a model? It’s an avenue which translates my “flaws” into admirable strengths- flaws of a regular girl being confident, assertive, tall and “craytive” (creative- sometimes being referred to as crazy because it’s not a regular trait in this part of my world)

What are your greatest moment and your most embarrassing moment? Almost every project has been great despite a few career hazards, but most notably I hold this experience dear : once I got entangled with a conflicting agent who wanted to see me out of business in his jurisdiction. There was an upcoming event which he purposely exempted me but lo and behold, the other agent who got it immediately, booked me. I wasn’t just on the show, I became the center of attraction as I was the favorite of the client. ehm…….. embarrassing moment… well I cannot think of any for now … maybe not yet and no – I’m definitely not expecting it!

Past and present model achievements? Currently the brand ambassador of Nayak Afrik, host and team player of Line of culture and African Style Forum. I’ve worked with great African designers like Karim, Beatrice Bee Arthur, Mai Atafo, Pistis, Sima Brew, Quophi Akotuah, Riche Ou Rien, and a lot…… I have walked the ramp for events along the coast of West Africa as well as TV commercials for Vodafone, Gino,Perk Biscuits and Onedistin online shop

What do you aspire to have or achieve in 5 years? To successfully aid indigenous créateurs market and sell their wares in and out of the country as well as create a stable environment for young talents through master class, contests and of course shows.

Who is your favorite designer to model runway for? This is hard … Mai Atafo excites me, but Duaba Serwaa construes Ghana, West Africa into class, walking for her is an honour

What beauty tips do you swear by? Micellar cleansing water, sugar, and honey facial scrub and twice daily bath.

Would you go nude for a million dollar contract? That’s a question for the gods.. haha

How do you feel about the controversy of the size 0 debate in the industry? This is no debate at all, the world is gradually shedding off the stereotype of models being disturbingly thin. The notion of Beauty is getting reconstructed, people are getting more concerned with health than flaunting anorexia as standardized.

Your face is your commodity. What’s your industry-insider to grooming perfection? I believe it’s about more of health and behavioral component of attitude. Your face is what you sell when that is seen, what does it represent? Headache or the right model to work with?

Any regrets about modeling? None at all.

What are the five fashion items you can’t do without? Eyebrow pencil, lipstick or gloss, shawl, sunglasses, and a parasol

How would you describe your personal style? Comfort- Classy- Outstanding

What do you think about the African modeling industry? It’s an exceptional and distinctive one, evolving to totally spread its gracious and captivating wings.

What do you want to be remembered for? I’d like to be especially known for bringing Ghana to the world, through the younger generation of talents, so help me God.

If a young girl/boy wanted to be a model what would your advice for them be? Be yourself, believe in yourself like a religion and be ethical.

Any last words to your admirers or shout outs to anyone? Forever grateful to Herman, the Rockstone of GH modeling, all friends, agents, designers and event organizers who make this industry enviable.
