Naomi Campbell’s Guardian Cover Is Shot By A Black Photographer, For The First Time In Years
Naomi Campbell is the latest cover star to be profiled by The Guardian’s Weekend and unfortunately, it’s the super model’s first time in years shooting with a Black photographer.
Naomi shared the cover and spread on her Instagram explaining her gratitude to photographer Campbell Addy. She wrote: “It’s my first time in thirty-three and a half years, shooting with a black photographer in mainstream fashion,” Campbell wrote in the caption. “BLESS YOU Campbell Addy for a beautiful day and to the whole team and Guardian Weekend for this whole piece.”

Rocking sleek black hair and an avant-garde headscarf, Naomi stuns in close-up portraits and greyscale images. In an exclusive interview with the magazine, Naomi talks friends and enemies, taking on tabloids, fashion’s thrilling sea change, and turning 50.
