Since it came back in trend, pleated skirts have been the rave, from boardrooms to street style, dressed up or dressed down – everybody loves them.

Putting her own stylish stamp of approval on the trend, Nollywood maven Genevieve Nnaji attended the private screening of her film ‘Lionheart’ at Bonhams in London this week. And as expected, she looked stunning at the screening which was followed by a Q&A with herself, the movie director and Tom Bouchier Hayes from CNN.

She wore a serious look for the earlier part of the day; a black detailed bishop sleeve blouse with a graphic print midi skirt paired with black pumps.

The accessories she added to the look, however, made the work ensemble look anything but boring. She accessorized with a party-ready bold cocktail ring and saddle LV bag, transforming the whole look with a see-through black jacket, which she hung over her shoulders.
