Louis Vuitton Names Olympic Champion Alysa Liu as New House Ambassador
Louis Vuitton has introduced 20 year old Olympic figure skating champion Alysa Liu as its newest House Ambassador. Coming off an impressive performance at the 2026 Winter Olympics, where she won two gold medals, Liu brings a fresh mix of talent, personality, and presence to the brand.
On February 19, she made history as the first American in 24 years to take home Olympic gold in women’s figure skating. Her success is not only about technical skill but also about the way she expresses herself. From her confident performances to her signature striped hair, Liu reflects a bold and modern spirit that fits naturally with Louis Vuitton. Nicolas Ghesquière, the Artistic Director of Women’s collections, highlighted her energy and individuality, noting that she represents confidence, creativity, and a fearless mindset.
Her connection with the brand has already been visible in recent appearances. At the Louis Vuitton Women’s Fall Winter 2026 show, Liu wore a coordinated Brown Speedy Patch Denim jacket and jeans set, styled with the Squire East West handbag in Monogram canvas. She also attended the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a black Louis Vuitton minidress detailed with gunmetal pearls, paired with black satin pumps.
Liu shared that stepping into this role feels both exciting and meaningful, especially as a figure skater being recognized in the fashion world. She spoke about the balance between strength and softness in her sport and how that translates into her personal style. For her, both skating and fashion come down to attention to detail, creativity, and connection. Being part of Louis Vuitton, she said, feels empowering and allows her to express different sides of who she is.
