Dior (PARIS:CDI.PA +0.80%) has announced that it will be hosting its Fall 2022 menswear show in London. Designed by Kim Jones, the upcoming event channels the friendship between the Parisian house and the United Kingdom that emerged during the first Dior show held in England in 1947.

“We are proud and excited to be bringing this unique event to life in London, a particularly symbolic destination dear to Monsieur Dior and the House since 1947,” said Pietro Beccari, chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture. “London is of course also the city closest to Kim Jones’ heart, where he was born and where he lives, which inspires him with its inexhaustible creativity and which he loves deeply.”

Last month, Dior announced its Spring 2022 B30 footwear series by Kim Jones. With stylized Dior branding, the modern running shoe features a mesh and leather upper with metallic piping accents and a “CD” monogram. The B30 sneakers come in black, white, beige, olive and lime.

Dior’s Fall 2022 menswear show in scheduled for December 9.
