Naomi Campbell ‘Sued By Billionaire Ex In Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit’
The supermodel began dating the Russian billionaire in 2008, and they were together for five years until their split in 2013.
Now, Doronin has filed a lawsuit alleging that Campbell is ‘refusing’ to pay back a loan he gave her, as well as holding onto belongings of his worth $3 million (£2.2m).
Doronin, 57, does not specify the worth of the alleged loan in the legal documents, obtained by TMZ.
During their relationship, the property magnate was known for showering Campbell, 50, with lavish gifts, including a £26,000 Zac Posen dress at a charity auction and a spell at the £10,000-a-night presidential suite at Moscow’s Ritz Carlton.
He also treated his girlfriend to yacht trips and holidays to his home on Cleopatra Island in Turkey.
Doronin made his money in real estate, and is the founder of Capital Group, CEP of OKO Group and the owner and chairman of Aman Resorts.
The father-of-four is also a keen art collector – as billionaires are one to do. Naomi, who met the mogul at Cannes Film Festival in 2008, was rumoured to have been engaged to Doronin throughout their relationship, but they never confirmed anything.
The legendary model has been linked to a string of high profile men over the years, from Mike Tyson and Robert De Niro to, most recently, grime star Skepta.
She was also engaged to Benetton boss Flavio Briatore and U2’s Adam Clayton – and last year, Naomi was believed to have dated One Direction star Liam Payne for four months.
While not in the billions like her ex, Naomi is one of the most successful models of all time, and is believed to be worth $60 million (£45m).
