Logo nail art is the latest nail trend sweeping across our Instagram feeds.

That’s right, the logos of famous fashion houses are being painted onto nails, for DIY designer looks.

Some of the most popular designs used in this new makeshift trend include the iconic interlocking Cs for Chanel, as well as the letters ‘L’ and ‘V’ for luxury retailer Louis Vuitton. ‘

The bold red and white colours of US brand Supreme have also proved popular, alongside Tommy Hilfiger, Fendi and Balenciaga.

In terms of the nail art itself, the designs vary.

Some have opted for an all-over uniform look, whereas others have changed the design from digit to digit.  Some people have even gone with a different brand on each finger – or even hand.

There are negative space designs, accent nails and 3D effects. Basically, anything goes when it comes to incorporating the logos.

What’s more, the new nail art trend is not limited to high-end fashion labels, as a number of sports brands and famous food companies have become the inspiration for looks, too. Nike and Adidas appear to be the big hitters, in terms of sportswear logos.

When it comes to food, we all have our favourite outlets and everyday brands, and some beauty lovers have dedicated their nail art to their go-to restaurants.
