Pomona Italian Restaurant’s Benjamin Amoako Carried Off This Year’s Bacardi Rumday Contest In Ghana
Bacardi Rumday Contest, exclusively anchored by Marina Market Ghana has officially announced its three winners out of the 7 finalists that combatted for the top 3 enviable prizes at the final stage of the contest, held on the 13th February 2023 at Telande Garden in Accra, Cantonments to be exact
The Rumday Contest had Kojo Aidoo – Founder of the Bartenders Guild Ghana, Chef Kuda Makoni, and Adei Ashie Kotei facilitating the final live showdown as high-size judges for the contest, which shined the spotlight on Benjamin Amoako, a bartender at Pomona Italian Restaurant as the overall winner, receiving the ultimate cash prize of 10,000GHS and a lifetime partnership with Marina Market Ghana and Bacardi.

Frontback Napoleon Forson notched the spot for 2nd Place, bagging a Cash Prize of 5,000GHS while the last standing woman, Ornella “Nyla” Cadasse of Nsoumnam in the male-driven contest walked away with 3,000GHS. The two get a lifetime partnership with Bacardi and Marina Market.


“This marks the 2nd anniversary of the Rumday Contest by Bacardi Ghana and it shall proceed to be an annual contest that will be opened to all bartenders/mixologists across the country.
