Ghana Menswear Week is the only annual fashion event in Ghana which is focused on creating a platform for creative men’s wear designers and brands to showcase their collections. This year is the 6th edition of the men’s fashion show which is fixed to take place at the World Trade Center, Accra, from August 27th to 28th.

Last year’s show was virtual with no audience due to covid19 restrictions, but this year’s event is open for live audiences with the usual fashion show buzz. Fashion brands set to showcase their arrays on the runway on Sunday, 28th August, include Kojo Boadi, Eccentric Clothing, Jay Ray Ghartey, Dzramdoh (all from Ghana), Samarra, Ibrahim Fernandez, Studio Madoch (all from Ivory Coast), Body Lab, El Bryt (both from Nigeria), Kai’s Divo collection from Uganda, and Hector’s from UK as well as the three finalists of KGL Style Man Project designer competition.

This edition of GHMW promises to be educative and entertaining. As part of the event, there will be a fashion dialogue on Saturday, 27th August 2022, at the British Council, Accra themed “Forging creative alliance in fashion, collaboration over competition”, moderated by Fashion PR Specialist Faith Senam, who will be joined by industry experts Patrick P. Asante ( CEO Eccentric Clothing), Emmanuel Ekuban (DebonairAfrik Studio), Hector Obeng ( CEO Hector groups), Selina Bebaako- Mensah ( CEO Selina Beb) and Stephen N. Boadi (Enable Growth Consult) who will speak on the topic “Building an effective online marketing strategy that works”

This year’s event of GHMW is in partnership with TECNO Mobile Ghana, KGL foundation, Hector’s underwear, and supported by E’April public relations, Melange Africa, Vine Imagery, Debonair Afrik, and African Dream Studios, FashionghTv, Ceejay Multimedia, Glamszons Ghana, Fashion Ghana many more.
