South African comedian, writer, actor, and television host Trevor Noah is on the cover of GQ’s December/January 2021 issue and has been named GQ’s “Newsman of the Year” alongside Hollywood A-lister George Clooney, who was named the 2020 Icon of the Year and Megan Thee Stallion, who was named Rapper of the Year.

In this issue, Trevor talks about his battle with depression, racism in America, the paradigm shift for him as an anchor in 2020 and much more.

For the cover, Noah was styled by Nigerian-American fashion stylist Mobolaji Dawodu who is also a fashion director at GQ Style. Trevor wore a green suede jacket, with a matching turtleneck by Salvatore Ferragamo and rocked his tidy Afro.

Trevor took to his Instagram to share the news

The worst thing about being on the cover of GQ is they can make you look so good people in real life are like… “Damn Trev, what happened?”
The best part is… SHARING THIS HONOUR WITH GEORGE CLOONEY & MEGAN THEE STALLION! Thank you @gq @sheekswinsalways @mobolajidawodu 🙏🏾
