Cameroonian designer, Claude Lavie Kameni‘s 5-year-old label LaviebyCK has become a go-to destination for elaborate designs, and other breezy, ready-to-wear pieces you’d stuff in a suitcase for a last-minute getaway trip.

In fact, it’s easy to imagine packing nothing else: The line’s beautiful colors, handcrafted details, and easy silhouettes have just the right casual-yet-special balance to go from a dinner to the red carpet. Of course, there would be one major thing missing in your carry-on: a swimsuit!

Kameni is taking care of that this week with her very first swim collection just in time for summer 2020 vacations which is available on the brand’s website now. As expected, the first pieces from the new range follow the LA-based cult-brand’s Afrocentric aesthetic consisting of more bold, bright, and flirtatious pieces.

The Le Voyage collection also debuted at the 2020 Miami Swim Week digitally. As the brand’s first ever runway show at the seaside fashion week, the 3D showcase marked a momentous occasion for the designer.
