Our partnership with Moda Operandi is one we look forward to with pride each season. It speaks to the essence of Lagos Fashion Week – collaboration, co-creation and community by providing a platform for our designers and the team that bring their vision to life each season, to gain access to new markets. This year, we’re particularly pleased to introduce designers Abiola Olusola, Banke Kuku, Odio Mimonet, Oririe and Tia Adeola, each with their unique stories to share with Moda Operandi customers and we applaud designers Andrea Iyamah and Lisa Folawiyo’s continued success with their stand-alone trunk shows.” – Omoyemi Akerele Founder Style House Files and Lagos Fashion Week.

Moda is again proud to amplify the design talent from Lagos Fashion Week, for our third year in a row.  Our customer comes to Moda as a point of discovery and has a strong appetite for new brands from around the world.  We are inspired by the immense creativity and dedication to craftsmanship celebrated throughout the Lagos collections, and are honoured to share them with our customers. – Marc Rofksy, Buying Director at Moda Operandi.

Since its inception, Lagos Fashion Week’s initiatives have focused on creating a platform for African creatives to showcase their work, leverage a globalized commercial landscape, and gain access to market opportunities through an approach that heralds collaborations, grassroots community impact, and co-creation, which is the foundation for building a sustainable fashion future.

Through the collaboration with Moda Operandi, Lagos Fashion Week continues to shape Africa’s fashion and is unwavering in its support of designers. The partnership allows an engaged global audience of buyers and customers to discover and shop African designer collections.

Lagos Fashion Week continues to lead the way with initiatives that support, strengthen and develop the fashion industry. Beyond the runway, the annual event provides a platform that’s gradually repositioning fashion as a useful tool for commerce and creativity in Africa.
