Nike And ACRONYM Officially Unveil Blazer Low And Apparel Collaboration
Nike (NYSE:NKE +0.35%) has presented its latest collaboration with Errolson Hugh‘s ACRONYM, covering two colorways of the Blazer Low silhouette and the first ever apparel capsule from the two labels. The full collection celebrates Nike’s Culture of Innovation, and mixes the label’s performance-wear with ACRONYM’s technical expertise.
As previously seen, the Blazer Low arrives in either “Black” or “Night Maroon.” Both colorways sport custom ACRONYM logos across their tongue, liner and heel, with this patterned branding taking inspiration from camouflage designs. Another stand-out feature comes in the form of two removable TPU heel clips, added to the Blazer Low for the first time.
The apparel collection includes tracksuits and stadium jerseys in fabrics such as Therma-FIT and recycled polyester. Key features of the pieces include reflective underlays and ghillie-inspired panelling to continue the camouflage theme. Graphics in the collection include work from Japanese graffiti artist NESM and typographer David Rudnick. A stand-out design touch is the diagonal zipper used on the Woven Jacket, which can be converted into a carrying strap.
The full collection — including the Blazer Low colorways — is due to release on February 9 via the ACRONYM web store, before launching on SNRKS and at select Nike retailers a day later.
