To celebrate The Costume Institute’s 2021 exhibition, In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, Vogue and The MET have teamed up with an assortment of designers for specially-made capsules that will be exclusively available on The MET’s Instagram shop. The lineup includes Emily Bode, Aurora James Christopher John Rogers, Prabal Gurung and Virgil Abloh, the latter of which will be dropping a collaboration through his label Off-White™.

This team-up includes a small crop of apparel items and accessories. Under the apparel category, the popular luxury and streetwear designer has fashioned a pullover hoodie and t-shirt, both of which are decorated with a paint splatter pattern and a block-letter spell-out across the chest that reads “THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART HOODIE/T-SHIRT DESIGNED BY OFF-WHITE™ C/O VIRGIL ABLOH Ⓒ 2021” in all caps. Elsewhere in the collection are is a white dad cap and a handbag which also feature the same pattern and Helvetica branding. The handbag also comes embellished with golden Off-White™ “X” hardware affixed to the middle.

Retail prices for each item are: $695 USD for the hoodie, $475 USD for the t-shirt, $1485 USD for the handbag and $265 USD for the cap. Previews of the items can now be seen through The MET’s IG shop.
